Student Designed a T-Shirt to Help Tornado Victims

As we have mentioned before, t-shirts are a great way to fundraise for a cause. Senior Molly Brown of Jonesboro High School in Arkansas is doing what she can to make a difference. As a student she was unable to go an help in the recovery but she did come up with a great idea to do her part. Brown decided to design a t-shirt, sell it, and give the profits to the tornado victims. In an interview with Region 8 news she is wearing a sweatshirt with the phrase “Recover, Rebuild Region 8. The t-shirt she has for sale has nine towns from Region 8 who were hit by the tornado.

Bring Badminton Lovers Together with a T-Shirt

Badminton is the fastest racquet sport in the world. It requires more strength, agility, and quick reflexes than many sports. Those that play or watch this great sport know the challenges it offers.

Why not celebrate your love of this terrific sport. If you are a badminton coach consider creating custom team t-shirts, they are a great way to show your pride. The t-shirts can be designed specifically for your team so they will be unique to your group. For smaller groups, the shirts can be personalized with the name of each player on the back just like a jersey. Names can also be put onto the front of the t-shirt with the back used for the name, logo, and slogan of your team.

If you need a fundraiser, sell your team t-shirts. Badminton parents would be willing to buy a shirt that they can wear to each game. The wearer will get to show pride and support for your organization without having to think of a unique idea. Shirts can be sold not just to parents, but to the local community as well to gain even more exposure for your team and raise a larger amount of funds.

As a parent of a badminton player, you have the option of creating a custom t-shirt to wear to all of your child’s games, practices, or just around town. The shirt can be an excellent way to show support for your player. Having your child’s name and even picture if you are daring, since many teens would find it humiliating, can be fun to wear. The shirt can also include things such as the team’s name, game locations and times, or even statistics if you have any. After each game, you can then add the score next to it so people can see the outcome of each game.

Maybe you don’t actually play the sport or know anyone personally that does. You can still create a shirt showing your love of the game. Just a simple shirt with “I love Badminton” may be enough for you. If you desire a more advanced design, there are plenty of ideas for those as well.

Badminton shirts are fun to create. If the team you cheer on has a color, use that color on your shirt. Your shirt can be a simple white with the text and graphic in color, or the shirt can be the team color with the graphic and text in white, black, or contrasting color for added appeal. With a graphic added and some color, your custom shirt will stand out in the crowd.

Whether your shirt is supporting one particular player, team, or the sport in general your shirt will show your pride and love of the sport. Go have some fun designing your custom badminton t-shirt. The best part of designing your own is how unique it will be. So have fun with it. Wear your pride for all to see and enjoy those games.

Matching T-Shirts for Your Family Members is Growing in Popularity

Show off your pride for your children with matching t-shirts! T-shirts are a fun and inexpensive way to dress alike. Wearing matching clothing is a nice way to show your closeness with your children.

It’s so easy to create your own t-shirt combinations that are perfectly customized for your family. Take pictures of dad and son. Scan them into the computer so you can easily upload the pictures to online t-shirt design sites. Add “Big Guy” and “Little Guy” to their respective shirts. Or use their names with a picture of their favorite activity like hunting, fishing, or a sport. There are thousands of designs to choose from online or you can create your own.

You can also stick with simple text like “Team Daddy” or “I’m on Daddy’s Team.” Put your child’s picture on Dad’s shirt with “I’m Joshua’s Dad.”

When Zane Bennage turned 5, his grandparents bought he and his dad special matching shirts for dad’s favorite sports team. This football season, the father-son team has matching personalized Pittsburgh Steeler t-shirts.

Some families are buying matching t-shirts for family photos. You can put your family crest or favorite activity or everyone’s names right on the shirt. They make great holiday cards.

For mothers and daughters, the options for matching shirts are only as endless as your imagination. Try “My Mom Rocks” for mom and “My Kid Rocks” for daughter. Or, for mom and baby, “Does this diaper make my butt look fat?” and “Does this baby make my butt look big?”

You can keep your t-shirts simple with a design you like and add your names. T-shirts with giant, sparkly flowers and retro band shirts are both trendy right now.

If you don’t find something you like online, at the store or in a catalog, design your own. It’s a great father-son or mother-daughter project to draw or craft something special and unique to your relationship.

Ty Brown and his son, Mark, started with a simple graphic design program on their computer. They used their favorite motorcycle logo and worked their last name into it. Thanks to simple online t-shirt design companies, they uploaded the design and were ordering shirts in no time. Ty’s wife, Jen and their daughter May took a different approach. They went to the fabric store and really started from scratch. 6 year old May picked out accessories to embellish the purple shirts she selected. Once they had buttons, felt and sparkly rhinestones, the two were ready to get to work. Jen cut out big flower pieces from the felt. Then, May helped add the buttons to the flower centers and rhinestones around the edges. Jen used a simple fabric marker to write their names on their shirts.

When everyone’s shirts were done, the Browns had a friend take a picture and their customized t-shirt creations were featured in their annual Christmas card.

Mother-daughter and father-son t-shirts are great for family vacations, too. Get an “I Love NYC” or “Rehobeth Beach” shirt. The boys get one color and put their names on the back in a sports jersey style. The girls can choose another color and have their names embroidered on the front.

Don’t forget holidays and special events. For one group of family friends, all the mothers and daughters get matching shirts for their “girls’ day out.” The trips started as back to school shopping trips to the local shoe store when the kids were young. One year, they decided to head to the large King of Prussia mall for a weekend long visit. They decided to get customized t-shirts to mark the occasion and to help quickly spot each other in the mall. Now, that there are grandchildren to take back to school shopping, it’s become a tradition to get mother-daughter-granddaughter shirts for each family.

Share your Christian Faith with T-Shirts

Millions of people profess to be Christians, but at the same time, the Christian faith is a personal one, and people choose to express that faith in different ways.

Some followers of Christ wear crosses around their necks and bracelets on their wrists. Others attach “Jesus Loves You” stickers or the Ichthus symbol to their car bumpers.

A sizeable segment, however, choose to share their beliefs with those around them by wearing custom T-shirts emblazoned with a Christian message.

Wearing Christian T-shirts lets people know who you worship, and by extension, what you stand for.

Some T-shirts state their beliefs boldly.

Some shirts proclaim JESUS FREAK. Underneath is a “Christian Fish,” or ichthus. It reads “Going against the flow. All day. Every day.”

Another shirt features a large, scary-looking crown of thorns on its gray T-shirt. The message reads “Fit for a King.”

Others use a more subtle touch.

You could make a shirt that features a grumpy face on the front, with a smiling, happy one on the back. Underneath reads: “… if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Cor 5:17

The point? Once we have Jesus in our heart, God assures us that our past sins do not count against us. The design urges us to live as a new creation, leaving behind the old self and living renewed in Christ.

How about this one? A simple rendering of a man in a rowboat fishing for a man in the water clearly illustrates the verse: “Come follow Me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men.” Mark 1:17

Moms, how about a brown shirt that reads: “ So glad I’m a Christian Mom” in bright pink letters. Underneath it reads: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.
Dads, what about an outdoorsman design on a forest green T-shirt aiming to reach hunters searching for a purpose in life. It reads: What are you hunting for? “As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul thirsteth for thee.” Psalm 42:6
Or for tweens, a green shirt pinkly-proclaims “Princess” but in small letters it reads “My Father is the King of Kings!” A shirt like this is a great way to stand firm against the vulgar and demeaning statements we see on many other shirts.

Even toddlers can get in on the t-shirt fun with a shirt featuring an inspired sketch of kids looking up at the cross reads: “This little light of mine/I’m gonna let it shine.”

Whether you wear a Christian T-shirt for its look, feel or message, there’s a host of T-shirt designs and styles to suit Christians of every age and culture. Just remember that people who see you wear a “godly” shirt will expect you to act like to you follow the teachings of Christ. If you don’t, you might as well be wearing a plain, white T.

Go Green with Your Own T-Shirts Designed for St. Patrick’s Day!

I don’t know about you, but I’m from Chicago, and in Chicago St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest parties of the year. People all over the city have parties from morning till night. There are two major parades that run through different parts of the city. If the holiday St. Patrick’s Day falls on a weekday, then the city celebrates both the weekend before and the weekend after the actual holiday, plus all the days in between. It’s a little bit like Mardi Gras for the cold weather crowd.

With all the green and gold going around all over the city, it’s hard to really stand out in a crowd of St. Patrick’s Day revelers. What better way to liven up the celebration than with a t-shirt you design yourself just for the occasion? Then you’ll have something truly unique and memorable that you can keep for years to come…and wear on every St. Patrick’s Day, if you want!

A lot of people get big groups of friends together to go celebrate on St. Patrick’s Day. Making matching St. Patrick’s Day t-shirts would be a great way to get geared up for the day and then to keep track of each other on the actual day. One of my roommates from college made t-shirts every year with her friends. They would come up with a design and a clever slogan. For St. Patrick’s Day, you can imagine many images and slogans that would be great. You could go from fact-based, nostalgic slogans like “South Side Parade 2008,” to limericks you write yourself for your t-shirts.

Images that come to my mind when I think of St. Patrick’s Day are things like clovers (with four leaves, of course!), leprechauns, pots of gold, and, of course, beer. If these are the types of images that come to your mind, you’re off and running. Be creative and make a collage of your favorite St. Patrick’s Day images. Or you could use pictures of you and your friends and family on past St. Patrick’s Days. Put those pictures on the front or back of the t-shirt and then add text—like “Happy St. Patty’s Day,” or “Erin Go Bragh!” or “Luck O’ the Irish!” Coming back to the idea of the limerick, you could try your hand at writing those funny, songlike poems that people associate with the Irish holiday.

With your matching t-shirts, you and your friends can do three things. First, you can make a statement on a day when the crowds are huge, loud, and friendly. Second, you can assure that you can always spot each other in the crowds when you need to—make those t-shirts bright and recognizable! Third, you can make your own souvenir of a day you’ll never forget, spent with friends and family. The fun of St. Patrick’s Day can be made even bigger if you plan ahead of time and treat yourself and your fellow partiers with special t-shirts you designed yourself.

Support the Democrats with a T-Shirt

As the Presidential election draws near, the talk is turning more and more to who will get the Democratic Party nomination. Will it be Hillary or Obama? Do you know? Do you have an opinion? Share it with the world! Support your political party with a Democrat t-shirt and let everyone know exactly what you think of President Bush. You can do all of this right on your t-shirt!

One fun shirt you can try is a graphic of a donkey kicking an elephant in the rear. No need to explain that one.

Another shirt that is sure to be popular in the upcoming election goes something like,
“01-20-09…Bush’s last day” This is sure to let everyone know that you can’t wait for him to leave the Oval Office.

Another Bush basher tee shows his face in a circle, with these words around the outside: “Not Smarter than a Fifth Grader”. This one definitely reflects the opinion a lot of people have of him these days, and pretty much anything that’s anti-Bush can be said to support the Democrats. For those who feel very strongly that Bush is a complete idiot, try putting one of his many mispronunciations along with his picture on the t-shirt. Definitely a pro-Democrat, anti-Republican t-shirt if there ever was one.

Let’s say, however, that you are looking for a more positive way to show your support for the Democrat Party. If you love Hillary, try a shirt that shows her looking good, and says “Lookin’ Great for 2008!”. If Barack Obama is your man, why not a wear a tee with his winning smile and the words, “Oh Mama! Obama!”.

If you really want to influence others, you can try pointing out the good things that the Democratic Party stands for. They are coming in on a platform of change and reform; a t-shirt that says “It’s Broke, Let’s Fix It; Vote Democrat” is one way you might convince others to go Democrat. At the very least, you will inspire some discussion on the topic.

Other t-shirts are emblazoned with the projects that the democrats want to complete should they take over the White House in 2008. “Going Green” is one slogan that instantly brings to mind the quest to save the environment. Improvements across the nation for healthcare are also on the agenda. Put your support for this cause on your shirt, and get people thinking about it. You may not only spark some conversation about the issue, but you may also convince voters who are otherwise on the fence to go democrat at the polls.

While the Republicans seem to be saying that they are the only ones with moral values, as a Democrat you can refute this. “Democrats have Moral Values Too” or “We Are America” can convey to others that you are not only a Democrat, but are invested in the nation’s government and want to effect a change.

No matter where you stand in your political beliefs, you can share them with a great Democrat t-shirt.

Curling T-shirts – Share the Love of this unique sport

Not everyone out there can appreciate such a sophisticated sport as curling. It takes concentration, determination, balance, and patience. Not minding the cold helps out, too. Curling isn’t a sport that gets much media in the south; not many folks in the southern parts of the US have even heard of it, much less follow the progress of its players and teams.

There are lots of you, though, who do. That’s where curling t-shirts come in. Maybe your children play on a curling team at high school. They’re actually pretty good, and are heading to the regional championships. The best way to show your support for the curling team is to wear a custom-designed tee. While it may be too cold to wear out on the ice, it definitely has a place at pre-game pep rallies and after-match celebrations.

Show team unity by getting matching tees for everyone on the team, including coaches, team parents and regular supporters or fans. Appearing, en masse, dressed in matching t-shirts, will sure to communicate unity and a winning attitude to the opposing teams.

When it’s time for training camp, ordering some matching tees will help new players feel more a part of the team they are working with. More experienced team members can gain benefit, too, they’ve got a tee just like the newbies, and they’re all in it together! If possible, having a different shirt for each day of camp will go a long way towards fostering team spirit and unity.

In addition, the shirts can be reused for public appearances when full curling uniforms aren’t required. (Golf tournaments, city tours in places you are competing, etc…) Try wearing your matching tees for website photos–they’ll give your publicity shots continuity and will draw the eye of the even casual surfer to look more closely at your site. Who knows? You may draw a brand-new curling fan to the ranks.

If curling is really big in your town, city, or even at your university or high school, selling matching tees is a great way to raise funds as needed. Fans want to show off who they love, and won’t hesitate to buy a tee that not only proclaims their passions for curling and the ice but which also shows which teams are the best.

For kids, getting matching tees for the whole family is a great way to show your support. Even if they act like they’re embarrassed, they’ll secretly be thrilled that everyone has turned out to watch them at their next match, and aren’t afraid to show their support by wearing matching, custom-designed tees.

So, whether you are a player, a fan, a family member, or anyone else involved in the sport of curling, a curling tee is right for you. You can wear it to a match, pep rally, after-match party, for publicity shots and just around the house. No matter what your level of involvement, a curling tee is the only thing you should wear.

Share the Love or Anti-Love with a Valentine T-Shirt

Well, here it comes, February 14th. Are you ready? Do you have your outfit planned? Are you going out for a romantic evening, or hanging out with the family? Well, if it’s the latter, you might want to outfit the entire family with a Valentine t-shirt!

There are lots of choices available. The most popular colors are pink, purple, red, white and even light blue. Color choice will depend on who’s going to be wearing the shirt.

Kids especially like to wear fun t-shirts to school; it’s easy to outfit them in a tee of their choice for the big day. Kids will like tees that have cute conversational hearts on them, with sayings such as Be Mine, Cute, or Cool. Other t-shirts the kids might enjoy could have a big red heart on the front, with their favorite kind of dog or cat, saying something like, “I Love My Lab!”

For the grown-ups, tees showing Cupid and star-crossed lovers might be desired. Others might bear the saying, “I still believe in love”, “Love is a Two-Way Street”, or “Be My Valentine”.

Young men (or the older guys, too) might choose Valentine’s Day to propose. For those who want a rather whimsical approach, why not try wearing a tee that pops the question for him? He can ask the girl to meet him in a crowded place like the mall, a club, or at a sporting event. Then, he can weave his way through the crowd to her side. Or, maybe he can get himself up on the JumboTron where the whole world can see his intentions.

There are any number of animals associated with Valentine’s Day. Almost any critter can convey a Valentine’s wish. There’s even a shirt out there with a cactus, a porcupine, and the words “True Love”! Teddy bears and kittens are popular choices, but frogs with hearts in their eyes and smooching monkeys can also be found on the more unusual Valentine’s tees.

Some t-shirts are rather simple and understated. They show a simple heart or two; just enough to show that the wearer feels the love. Even the simple word “Love” is enough to let others know that you enjoy the holiday.

Then there are suggestive tees. These shirts display how attractive the wearer of the shirt finds others. Some examples are:
“You’re so hot you’d make the devil sweat”
“If I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d U next to I” and
“Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?”

Of course, Valentine’s Day, like any other holiday, has its detractors. The cynical, the lonely, the newly single and the folks who have never been in love may all fall into this category. Some folks might choose to express their opinions with:
“Valentines Schmalentines”
“I Never Loved Him Anyway”
“Cupid Rhymes with Stupid”, and there’s always
“I see no reason to celebrate VD”.

No matter your mood or how you feel about February 14th, you can see that there’s a way to express it. Just pull a t-shirt on over your head and let the world know about it!

Make Your Valentine Yours with a Special Valentine’s Day T-Shirt!

Not sure what to get that special someone on Valentine’s Day? Tired of the usual gifts like chocolate, candy, and flowers? Or maybe your Valentine is actually allergic to chocolate and flowers! But you want to show your affection and love on this special day. What’s a sweetheart to do?

Think about this option: if you design a t-shirt for your Valentine, you can show your love, creativity, and commitment all in the same gift. The time and thought you put into the design of the t-shirt will be crystal clear to your Valentine, right off the bat. Better yet, you can customize the t-shirt to your special someone’s tastes; not only are the size and style of the shirt up to you, but you also have endless supplies of choices to make on the images, text, and layout of the t-shirt.

Many people like to start out with a favorite picture of themselves with the object of their affection. Remind your honey of that trip you took to Hawaii, of your wedding day, or of your first date with a picture included into the t-shirt design. You can add a quote about love, or maybe the lyrics to “your” song—the song you share with your Valentine. Don’t have a song? No problem—any song that reminds you of the way your loved one makes you feel, or expresses your feelings to your loved one, will do just fine. If you’re really looking to impress, you could even write your own poem to put on the t-shirt.

For the younger crowd, another Valentine’s Day t-shirt idea would be to make t-shirts for your class! Imagine how surprised your classmates would be to find t-shirts designed by you in their Valentine’s bags. I don’t know about you, but that sounds better to me than just another mini candy bar! A t-shirt lasts forever and will remind your classmates of that Valentine’s Day in school.

If you’re planning to make t-shirts for your whole class, you should probably just make one design. This way, everyone’s t-shirts will match, and you won’t go crazy trying to come up with a custom design for each person in your class. Valentine’s Day t-shirts for an entire class probably won’t be as affectionate as a t-shirt you’d make for, say, your husband or wife. But there are still plenty of positive messages to express to your friends and classmates. Try finding a good, classic Valentine’s Day image, of a heart, or Cupid, or even just a design with the colors red, white, and pink. If your class has any kind of slogan or mascot, you could add that. Make sure to put the teacher’s name and the year on the t-shirt too. That way everyone will remember when they got their special Valentine’s Day t-shirts!

Whatever you decide to do, make sure you have fun designing your t-shirts. That’s the whole point: to have fun and enjoy giving to the people that are important to you!

Top Ten Reasons to Get Custom Tees for Your School

Number 10: Field Trips…Ever been to the zoo or the museum during a weekday? Chances are you’ll see a school group or two on a field trip. It’s easy to identify them; they are usually little knots of kids wearing name tags or matching t-shirts. This is one of the top ten reasons that people get custom designed t-shirts for kids.

Number 9: Safety Patrols…Remember the safety patrols? You might have even been one. That bright yellow or orange belt and crossing guard flag were the emblems of school safety. That shiny silver badge showed all the other kids that YOU were in charge of the halls. Back in the day, patrols wore plain white shirts and dark pants. Today, fashion has taken over. Some patrol groups wear school uniforms with their names and job titles embroidered on the chest. But why not custom tees? Patrols could even design their own, and show their pride in their job at the same time.

Number 8: Band Geeks…These guys love to blow their own horn, and why not prove it with a great custom tee as well? Possibilities for these school t-shirts are nearly endless; graphics of the instrument a kids plays, name of the band, the school colors with some music notes, the name of the half time show, the list goes on and on. Band boosters, the parents who help support the band can also have matching custom-designed tees identifying their place in the organization.

Number 7: Club Tees…For all the kids in all the different clubs, having a custom tee is the way to go. It will easily identify who’s who and what’s what with a t-shirt that shows the student’s favorite club on campus.

Number 6: Athletic Tees…OK, while this one may seem obvious, it’s necessary to give it a nod on the top ten list. Playing a sport is all about being part of a team, and what contributes more to that feeling than wearing the same shirt as your quarterback or pitcher? Custom designing a t-shirt for the school’s basketball team, for example, is a good way to draw everyone together.

Number 5: Class Designs…Kids love to draw and paint, and for the more adventurous teachers, kids can draw and paint and then have the artwork printed right on their clothes! Doing a special Christmas design, say, can help the students make a great gift for grandpa.

Number 4: Teachers…Yes, even teachers can wear custom-designed t-shirts. Many schools have “Casual Friday”, and it’s a great opportunity for the teachers to band together and wear tees that show that they are committed to their school. They can be designed with the school seal or mascot and handed out during pre-planning at the beginning of the school year.

Number 3: Graduation…Graduation from high school is filled with special events and happenings. Why not have a t-shirt that commemorates this special time of a student’s school career? Emblazoned with the school song, and perhaps everyone’s name in the senior class, it is a shirt that everyone will treasure.

Number 2: PTA Members…Having the members of the PTA decked out in matching tees is a great idea, especially for PTA-sponsored events like Science Night or the Fall Festival. This makes them easily identifiable to anyone who may need their assistance.

Number 1: Drum Roll, please…….Fund-Raisers! The best reason to have custom-designed t-shirts for schools is so you can sell them for fund-raisers! Each year, students could submit different designs for a contest, and then the winner’s designs can be printed up on a tee. It could then be sold to benefit the school–the patrols, the football team, the library, etc…

Any way you look at it, there are tons of great reasons to get custom-designed t-shirts for your school!

Hang Gliders Flaunt Their Adventures with Custom T-Shirts

Hang gliding is a unique sport in which participants are strapped into a harness and operate an aircraft, which is not mechanically or electrically powered. These lightweight aircrafts typically consist of a metal frame, fabric wings and a harness for the pilot of the aircraft. These aircraft are powered by the wind and a skilled pilot can navigate wind current to stay in the air for several hours and even perform tricks and increase elevation. However, first time hang gliders will likely only spend a few minutes in the air before coming to a landing which is hopefully uneventful. Understandably a first hang gliding adventure can be a monumental occasion which is why many first time participants mark the occasion with custom hang gliding t-shirts.

Many hang gliders like to design t-shirts that feature the location for their most recent hang gliding adventure. Hang gliders sometimes also create a t-shirt with a simple text message flaunting their accomplishment or may opt for a custom hang gliding t-shirt showing a photo of them in the air. The t-shirts become excellent memento and conversation piece of the occasion after the adventure is completed.

Another option for designing a custom hang gliding t-shirt is to create a t-shirt with an inspirational image or quotation upside down on the t-shirt. This can be an image of a loved one, a scenic location or anything that inspires the individual. An inspirational message may be a name, a quotation, dates or anything else that is meaningful to the hang glider. By placing the image or text upside down it will enable the hang glider to view the image or text while hang gliding. This is significant because it can provide the hang glider with the courage to start the adventure and the will to continue the adventure once they have started.

T-Shirts for the Leprechaun in All of Us – Create a St. Patrick’s Day T-Shirt

Whether you are Irish, have Irish ancestors, or just love St. Patrick’s Day and all the fun it has to offer, an Irish t-shirt is for you. The possibilities are endless.

Lots of people are into genealogy these days. For those who have Irish roots, try a shirt that has your family name and coat of arms on the front. These coats of arms are of high interest, especially for people who really get into the history of their families.

Another option for Irish shirts is the quintessential “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” tee. Seen mostly at St. Patrick’s Day, they are usually green but can be any color. A shamrock is typically seen at the side of this popular saying.

Some folks like to brag about their heritage. Pregnant women can wear a shirt that says “Irish Blessing”. Another one is “Irish to the Bone”, and can show some green skeletons.
Or, you can get one that simply says “Ireland”. It’s your choice!

Young lads and lassies would like to wear their very own shamrock clothes, and maybe would enjoy a t-shirt covered with “leprechaun tracks”. You can even do this one yourself with some green ink and your thumbprint.

Other kinds of Irish tees might have sayings associated with the green isle. For example, “Slainte” is one, as well as “It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere”…alluding to the widely-held belief that the Irish are a great beer-drinking culture. Guinness t-shirts are especially popular, even around St. Patrick’s Day. If you’re heading out for a St. Patrick’s Day parade, try customizing a t-shirt with a graphic of a frosty pint of green beer!

For the person who wants to get more specific in his or her Irish sayings, they can try any number of blessings (and curses) for their t-shirts:

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And the rain fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.”

Another blessing:

May you have the hindsight to know where you’ve been,
The foresight to know where you are going,
And the insight to know when you have gone too far.

A final blessing to consider:

May flowers always line you path and sunshine light your day.
May songbirds serenade you every step of the way.
May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.

And the Curse:

May those that love us, love us,
And those that don’t love us
May god turn their hearts;
If he can’t turn their hearts,
May he turn their ankles so
We’ll know them by their limping!

No matter how you want to celebrate being Irish, having Irish ancestors, or the great partying holiday of St. Patrick’s Day, pull on a t-shirt and show that you’re “Proud to Be Irish!”

Celebrate your Love for Beer with a Beer Inspired T-shirt

A large part of the population enjoys a drink or two at the end of a long day or week at work. Whether meeting friends at the local watering hole or relaxing with a cold one in front of the TV, many folks toss back a beer at some time or another. Since you’re reading this, you probably do, too.

While most bars don’t sell t-shirts, you can get them lots of other places. Lots of people wear t-shirts that advertise to the world what they love; beer drinkers love beer, so why not a beer tee? Try shopping for a t-shirt on-line; it’s the best way to find just the shirt you’re looking for, all from the comfort of your own home. Or better, yet, design your own, unique tee at a custom t-shirt site. Not only can you share your love of your favorite beer, no one else will have a shirt like yours!

Coming in all colors, designs, and sizes, a beer t-shirt is a great way to show off your favorite adult beverage. Say, for example, that you love Guinness. You can wear a t-shirt that’s a lovely shade of dark, dark brown with a pint on the front.

Designing your own custom beer tee is really quite easy. You don’t have to be an artist at all; you only need to have a basic idea of what you want and a little bit of time to look through all the possibilities available to you on the company’s website. Have Fun Dressing Your Baby Up in Personalized T-Shirts

You know you have the cutest baby in the world, and she doesn’t need any help getting attention. But as long she’s wearing diapers and eating strained peaches, she might need a little help expressing herself to the general public. You can help her tell the world what she’s all about with a personalized t-shirt.

Personalized t-shirts are a great way to make a joke, send a message, or just liven up your baby’s wardrobe. They’re fun for Baby to wear, they’re fun for Mom and Dad to design, and they’re fun for the people you meet on the street to see. Personalized t-shirts also make a great baby shower or birthday gift. An enterprising aunt, uncle, or friend can stock a baby’s wardrobe with soft, colorful expressions of his developing personality.

The possibilities for designs are limited only by your imagination. Taking a photo for your birth announcements? Why not let the t-shirt do the work–print your baby’s name, length, weight, and birth date right on his outfit. Help your little one show the world he knows which side his bread his buttered on–dress him in a shirt that says, “I love Mommy and Daddy!” If your baby girl is a real princess, dress her in a pink tee adorned with a golden tiara. If she’s a future Harvard MBA or Supreme Court Justice, put the world on notice. Grandparents can get in on the act as well, creating personalized t-shirts that make public their intention to spoil their grandbabies.

Personalized t-shirts are also a great way to celebrate the all of the special “firsts” in your baby’s life. You can memorialize his first Christmas, his first birthday, his first steps, his first tooth, his first pet, his first haircut, or the arrival of his first sibling with a custom t-shirt. In the years to come, these personalized t-shirts will serve as a poignant reminder of how much your baby grew during his first couple of years.

All of the tots in the sandbox are adorable. But no two are exactly the same. Anyone can see your baby’s distinctive features–curly hair, no hair, freckles, big blue eyes, curious brown eyes, that magical gummy smile. Such a special baby deserves a special, one-of-a-kind wardrobe. You can have fun helping your baby stand out before he can even stand up by designing a t-shirt that captures his unique personality.

Before too long, your wee one will be able to tell you all about her world–what she sees, where she goes, who she likes. She’ll head off to school, and learn to read and write. And in the blink of an eye, your little bundle of joy will be a full-grown teenager, who drives a car, goes on dates, talks on the phone, and doesn’t hesitate to share her opinions with Mom and Dad. But until she can speak for herself, a personalized t-shirt is a great way to help her communicate with the world.

Creating and Wearing T-Shirts to Raise Awareness

“Walk for Bust!”
“You don’t scare me: I’m a cancer survivor”
“New and Improved: Now Cancer Free”

You’ve seen the catchy slogans dot the street whenever tens of thousands of women march to raise awareness for breast cancer. It’s hard to miss the messages from survivors and supporters. Even if a woman is wearing her shirt while shopping alone at the grocery store, that t-shirt sends a message to all shoppers to do their part to help. That could mean participating in a local event, making a donation or a reminder to all women to do a simple breast check.

The shirts not only raise awareness to people driving and walking by, they unite and empower participants. A transformation takes place when a patient, survivor, or caretaker puts on a t-shirt that says, “Beating Cancer, Priceless” or “Squeeze a boob: Save a life.” Some shirts make us laugh while others are provocative and feisty. They send clear messages about beating cancer, raising awareness and the camaraderie that goes with being a survivor.

The best part is that most of the money raised from the sale of Breast Cancer awareness shirts actually go toward helping patients, research for a cure and prevention education. You can buy shirts from organizations like the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. You can also sell your own designs to make money for local and family organizations or to send a pool of cash to the big national groups in the name of your friends and family.

There are a lot of resources to buy t-shirts online. It’s typically easy and inexpensive to create and buy t-shirts over the internet. And, you can do the designing and shopping from the comfort of your own home. You can choose from a wide variety of shirt and ink colors, and you can customize shirts for your walking team or family by putting team names on the back. You can also create your own design decked with the face of your survivor. This allows you to get the exact t-shirt you want. And of course, the end result is quite professional, and will be something that you are proud to wear day in and day out.

With most online design sites it’s easy. You pick your t-shirt color, add text, pictures, and names. You can choose from ideas and ready-made art and slogans or use your own. Choose different styles and sleeve lengths. Then, get a quote. In some cases there is a minimum order. But, usually, the more t-shirts you buy, the better the discount. It typically takes about two weeks for your shirts to arrive.

For one group, the t-shirts started as support, turned into a fund raiser and then into an empowering memorial as they continued to raise money for cancer. Here’s what Ellen B. said about their custom t-shirts, “We originally made T-shits as a support to our hero and friend Sara who battled breast cancer twice. After so much interest we upped the order and developed a fund raiser for her and her family. We sold over 100 shirts and provided the family a means to help pay for medical expenses. We wore our shirts during the Relay for Life event. Sara came to cheer us on. We took a team photo and now it’s on this year’s team t-shirts. Sara died this year. But, we honor her and wear her memory as walk this year. We are very proud to have known her and what it means to give support to a family who is in need. The T-shirts were and still are a voice in her honor.”

Does your group of girls have a favorite show or song? How about a phrase you’ve been saying since 11th grade? Still pining for members of Duran Duran? Use it on your shirt.

Try these ideas:
On the front: “Smack it up, flip it, rub it down.” On the back: “Do Me Baby. Laura’s Bachelorette Party. West Palm 2008.”

It’s easy to do online, party organizers. Pick a classy tank top or baby doll tee. Pick from hot styles and colors so your bride looks her best. Find one with lace to go with the cheesy veil you’ve all bought for the night.

Then, select artwork that’s pre-designed online or add your own. Maybe a picture of your bride or all the girls from Spring Break. Or your high school or sorority logo. Then, choose fun text. Pick from ideas already online. Or, create your own slogans like “Laura’s Last Night. Vegas 2007.” and “Angie’s No Angel. NYC Bachelorette Party 2007.” Individualize each shirt with bridesmaids’ names.

Be sure to make your shirts a memory and get pictures of the whole party wearing them. Order extra shirts in bigger sizes to give out during your night of partying and for family and friends who couldn’t make it.

A few years from now when you have a girl’s weekend away, you can get the pictures out along with those of all your kids. MaryBeth Durgins friends took her to Atlantic City for a bachelorette party weekend. They stayed at her feisty grandmother’s nearby condo. The girls’ t-shirts said, “Girl’s Night Out. AC 2007.” They had a picture of MaryBeth with a margarita. They made 75 year old Gram her own special shirt. It said, “Gram’s Night Out. Experience Required” and had a picture of her with MaryBeth on the back. It was a huge hit! Now there’s a picture of the whole gang hanging over Gram’s fireplace.
Don’t miss this chance to give your bride a night she’ll remember with her own special t-shirt.

Show your Hometown Pride with a Custom T-Shirt

Wear your colors! Show off your hometown pride with a customized t-shirt. The shirts are a great way to demonstrate your love for your neighborhood. Use them for special events, as fundraisers and to show off your affection for where you live.

When North Cumberland, Pennsylvania was celebrating its 175th Anniversary, t-shirts dotted the town. The anniversary committee designed a shirt with a sketch of the town’s beloved oak tree. It said, “Deep Roots and Still Growing.” The shirts were sold in all of the downtown shops to raise money for the celebration activities and the library. They were a huge hit at the annual Apple Festival where visitors come from all over the state to sample North Cumberland’s goods. The simple t-shirt brought in thousands of dollars for the town.

Hometown pride t-shirts make great gifts for friends and family, especially those who have moved out of town. They get to celebrate their roots and show off their true colors. They are a wonderful way for kids to take their town with them to college. And, these shirts are becoming quite trendy on campuses across the country.

Use the t-shirts as a way to advertise hometown businesses, charities and upcoming events. The downtown Kepsburg business group creates a new t-shirt for every summer. Each year, there’s a different picture of a town landmark with a list of summer events. They hold a contest for the summer’s slogan. Over the years, t-shirts have had sentimental slogans like “We Remember” with a picture of the old mill before it caught fire and burned to the ground that winter. Other years, have been fun summer themes like “Summer Slidin’” with a picture of the mayor on a park sliding board. A new playground had been put in that spring.

The t-shirts are sold in downtown shops and at all the events. Some neighbors have been collecting them for years! The t-shirts from years passed are considered vintage and are becoming quite hip with teenagers. A favorite with the kids is “Angie Watch 2003.” Angelina Jolie was in town for a week shooting a scene for a movie that year. And, every year, a few dozen “bonus” t-shirts are ordered. On the front, they simply say, “T-shirt XXXX (insert year).” On the back, “Kepsburg’s annual summer T. www.kepsburgdowntown.com.” The “rarities” sell for $25. Teenagers love them!

Use the t-shirts as a fundraiser. It could be for a new fire truck, to save the old theater or for a special event. Sell the t-shirts at area stores, the town hall, at events and your website. You can expect to raise about $5 a shirt. By using the website, people who’ve moved away can easily buy t-shirts, too, and show off their hometown pride wherever they live.

Customized t-shirts are easy to order online. Pick from pre-designed ideas or design your own. Pick sizes, styles and colors. Add photos, graphics or artwork and then text and names. Be sure to include your town’s website somewhere on the shirt. The more shirts you order, the bigger discount you can usually expect. It takes a couple weeks for your shirts to arrive.

Youth Groups – Create a custom t-shirt for your youth group

Church members are already close to begin with. By sharing their spiritual time together, they feel a strengthened bond of friendship. If possible, however, the youth groups of a church are even closer than the ordinary congregation. The young people often grow up together in the environment of the church; they attend Bible studies, community outreach programs, and special retreats together. The group they form is usually strong and continues to grow through good times together.

The events that youth groups attend are wide ranging and varied. However, the one constant thing throughout their time is that they are always attending together. That’s why a custom t-shirt representing the youth group is such a cool idea. It can reflect the church they attend as well as the specific mission of the youth group. Small or large, the youth group will really enjoy having custom t-shirts made for them. It’s a form of expression; it allows them to display part of who they are. It’s also a form of identity and connection. If they attend a large gathering, it makes sense to have visual connectors that can help them stick together in crowds. Most importantly, though, it’s fun way to help them remember the times they have had together.

• Design–Since the shirt will belong to the group, a consensus should be reached on the display image. Custom t-shirt companies have many pre-drawn designs to choose from and can even alter the images they have to suit your preferences. On the other hand, to achieve total uniqueness, the youth group might want to come up with their own design. They could collaborate and really put some thought into what the t-shirt will mean to them. By involving the entire youth group, the custom t-shirt will be an incredible memory and mean that much more to them.
• Cost–Another perk about deciding to have custom t-shirts made for the youth group is that it’s a relatively inexpensive investment. Of course, the more elaborate the design and the larger the order, the price will go up accordingly. But overall, the price is very reasonable. You buy a minimum amount of shirts when you place your order and usually have no problem ordering the correct amount for all involved. Most of the custom t-shirt business is conducted over the internet. You place the order online and then the merchandise is shipped right to your door. It’s easy and efficient.
• Style–The custom t-shirts come in a variety of makes and models. The fits of the shirts must appeal to everyone interested. There are traditional t-shirts, form fitting t-shirts, baby doll, long sleeved, three quarter length sleeves etc. A variety of fits can be selected so that every youth can have access to a shirt that really grabs their interest.

All in all, youth groups should be able to take advantage of the custom t-shirts. They are a great way to commemorate time spent together, and a good way to have more fun together.

And just a few years later, “It’s my 21st birthday, buy me a drink!”
There are thousands of clever ideas online that you can use as inspiration and add your own unique touch to.

Use a picture of your birthday girl in a car with “1981 Classic”

Customized t-shirts also make festive party favors for everyone. Try “I’m with the old fart,” “I’m with the birthday girl,” or “Grandma of the bday boy.”

Does the birthday boy or girl have a favorite character? You can make a t-shirt with everyone from Sponge Bob to Austin Powers to Elvis. Maybe you have a favorite song, theme or phrase your group has been saying for ages. Use it to create a one of a kind t-shirt for your birthday celebration.

Everyone knew about Rose’s love for Frank Sinatra. When she walked into her surprise 50th birthday party, “My Way” was playing and she was handed a t-shirt. Under her picture, it said, “Doing it my way for 50 years!”

It’s easy to order your custom t-shirts online. Pick some artwork designed by the pros online or add your own pictures. Then, pick the text and add special touches like names and dates. Bachelor Party – Celebrate with a Custom T-Shirt

Get customized t-shirts for the bachelor party. All the guys can go out in style with no mistaking about what you’re celebrating. With everyone wearing their colors, there is sure to be plenty of attention from bartenders and the ladies!

Craft a custom t-shirt to remember the bachelor party. When you shop online you’ll find plenty of catchy slogans.

  • ”Last fling before the ring.”
  • ”Buy me a shot, before I tie the knot.” Greg Gordon scored free drinks for he and his buddies all night at a New York City bar with this one.
  • And, there’s plenty for the groom’s buddies.
  • “Grooms wingman”
  • ”Best man on so many levels”

Your choice. You can embarrass your groom or stir up some free drinks and other “last night out” freebies with a shirt like this: “Bachelor: last day single. 1. Give me a hug 2. Buy me a shot 3. Spank Me 4. Give me a kiss. 5. All of the above.”

You can also create your own just for your group of friends. Got a favorite team? Show? Or phrase you guys made up on the baseball field in 10th grade? Then design your own shirt. Put a picture of your bachelor on the back. Customize each shirt with nicknames and your party location. Try something like this. The back has a black and white picture of Ken with a martini. It says, “Ken’s Big Gamble. Vegas 2007.” On the front, each guy has his nickname embroidered. Or, get baseball jerseys that say “Team Smith” across the back shoulders, if you’re starting your party at the game.

It’s becoming more and more popular to organize your party with a website, if your group of friends is spread out around the country. If you’ve got a website, be sure to put it on the shirts. That way other party goers will know where to go to look for uploaded party pictures.

With online resources, it only takes a few minutes to put together your bachelor party t-shirt designs. Choose from all styles like popular retro and vintage shirts or sports style shirts and even the ever-popular bowling stripes. You pick the artwork, graphics or photos then add text and names. Pick colors and styles. You can actually see a mock-up of the shirt while you design it. That makes it simple to see what you like and make changes before you order the shirts. And, there’s real live people to call if you need help getting a design together. Typically you’ll find quick turnaround in case you order at the last minute.

The t-shirts are great for marking your group on your big night out. They are also great memories. When Danny Conlon’s buddies took him out the weekend before his wedding, they chose their favorite college bar along the shore. The shirts had a sketch of Danny with a beer mug. It said, “Danny’s Done! Fitzgeralds Bar. September 9th.” The guys bought enough shirts so all the bartenders could wear one too. They took a photo of everyone in their Bachelor Party t-shirts and now it hangs above the bar.
When you’re making plans for his last night out, don’t forget to order your customized t-shirts and make a night of laughs and memories to last a lifetime.
